At SunRise Kids Early Education and Care Kippa-Ring, we provide a caring, welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and free to be themselves. From 6 weeks to 5 years, we support children as they form friendships, explore new ideas, and enjoy learning through play.

Our educators take the time to get to know each child and their family, creating a space where children feel safe, encouraged, and proud of what they can do as they grow.

At SunRise Kids Kippa-Ring, our programs focus on these foundations, preparing them for the transition into school.

Through play-based learning, shared routines, and familiar faces, children are given time and space to explore, ask questions, and learn alongside others. These everyday experiences help children develop strong social and emotional skills that stay with them as they move into their school years.

We work closely with families to support children through the everyday moments that shape their early years. By getting to know each child and their family, we’re able to respond to daily needs, routines, and changes as they come, creating consistency between home and care.

About Donna

My name is Donna and my career in Early Learning has spanned over 30 years. I have worked as a cook, educator, lead educator, administration and Centre Director. I am committed to working with families and the team to create an environment that encourages children to be inspired to learn through inquiry, investigation and exploration.

Our programs

We offer age-specific programs designed to encourage your child at every stage of their development. Using a play-based learning approach, we celebrate exploration, problem-solving, and creativity in a way that feels natural and fun.

Nursery

6 weeks to 15 months
Our nursery is a gentle, nurturing space where babies feel safe and comfortable. Our educators take the time to understand each child’s routine, cues, and preferences, offering calm support through sensory experiences, music, quiet play, and plenty of one-on-one care.

Toddlers

15 months - 2.5 years
Toddlers are learning about the world by doing, and our spaces are designed to match their curiosity and energy. Children are encouraged to move, experiment, and express themselves through hands-on play, creative activities, music, and outdoor experiences.

Pre-Kindy

2.5 years - 3 years
In Pre-Kindy, children start to develop a stronger sense of self and a growing interest in learning alongside others. We welcome this stage by offering opportunities for problem-solving, imaginative play, language development, and collaboration.

Kindergarten

3 years to 5 years
Our Kindergarten program supports children as they prepare for school, while still honouring the importance of play and connection. Led by qualified teachers and aligned with the government-approved Kindergarten Program, children take part in hands-on learning, group activities, and guided exploration.
