SunRise Kids Early Education & Care is a family-owned childcare centre welcoming Kallangur and Moreton Bay families with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. With four rooms for Nursery, Toddlers, Pre-Kindy and Kindergarten, your little one can grow with us from their first days in care right through to their kindy year before Prep.
You’ll find us at 146–154 Marsden Road, Kallangur, just a short drive from North Lakes, Petrie, Narangba, Dakabin and Murrumba Downs. We’re open from 6.00am to 6.00pm, making life a little easier for busy local families.
A place to explore, play and grow
We believe children learn best when they follow their curiosity. Our programs build on their interests, helping them develop socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard, we create meaningful learning experiences for every age and stage. Our Kallangur Kindy is led by a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher and follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.
Our spacious indoor and outdoor play areas give children room to dig, build, climb, create and imagine, with educators nearby to encourage their ideas and help them discover a love of learning.
A nurturing start to their early learning journey
Some of the most important learning happens through everyday play. At SunRise Kids Kallangur, our qualified educators take the time to get to know each child, helping them build friendships, grow in independence and feel right at home.
Whether it’s dinosaurs, sandpit adventures, dress-ups or a favourite picture book, we take notice of what sparks their interest and create new learning experiences around it. Along the way, children develop the skills they’ll carry with them into Prep and beyond.
We also believe strong relationships with families help build strong communities. Through regular photos and updates on Storypark, plus friendly chats at drop-off and pick-up, we keep you connected to what your little one has been learning and enjoying.

Our early learning programs
Every age brings something new to discover. Our four early learning rooms are designed around children’s changing needs, with play-based experiences that help them learn, make friends and become more independent as they grow.
(6 weeks – 15 months)
Nursery
We offer a calm, nurturing nursery space, gently supporting your baby as they progress through their earliest milestones. We work around your individual routines and developmental needs, helping nurture them with sensory play, cuddles and quiet time, as well as singing and plenty of smiles. Our focus is ensuring they feel safe, secure, and nurtured – just like they would if they were in your arms.
(15 months – 2.5 years)
Toddlers
Toddlers are busy, curious and always on the move, and our toddler room is set up to match. Through hands-on play, music, messy art, early conversations and time outdoors, children grow their language, independence and confidence in a secure, familiar space.
(2.5 – 3 years)
Pre-Kindy
Pre-Kindy is where learning and adventure meet. Children are encouraged to express themselves, ask big questions and build friendships, with educators using the Early Years Learning Framework to plan experiences that prepare them for the step up to kindy.
(3 – 5 years)
Kindergarten
Our government-approved Kindergarten program is led by a Qualified Teacher and covers storytelling, science, nature, outdoor learning and early numeracy to get children ready for school. Eligible children can access Queensland Free Kindy, which is applied to fees on top of any CCS.

Does SunRise Kids Kallangur offer Free Kindy?
Yes, eligible children attending our government-approved Kindergarten program can access Queensland’s Free Kindy funding, covering 15 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year. Children generally need to turn four by 30 June in their kindy year to qualify. Additional hours of care may attract fees, with CCS available to eligible families.
What does my child need to bring to childcare?
We provide meals, nappies, wipes, sunscreen and hats, so there’s less for you to pack each morning. You’ll still need to bring any personal items your child requires. Our educators can explain what to prepare before your little one’s first day.
