Meet our Centre Director
As the director for SunRise Kids Acacia Ridge, Rebecca works extensively on forming relationships with children, families, educators and the local community to provide high quality outcomes for the SunRise Kids community. Nothing is ever too hard for Rebecca and she loves to help our families and community.
She has formed partnerships with Acacia Ridge State School, Watson Road State School, KU Children Services and Acacia Ridge AEDC group.
Rebecca has been working in Early Childhood since 2008 and has worked her way from an Educator to Centre Director. This provides Rebecca with a very detailed understanding of how to effectively manage a Centre with a team focus. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Child and Family Studies.
She is inspired to create and contribute to her community by working with children, families and educators to facilitate partnerships with our stakeholders and ensure those partnerships are nurtured and developed.
Rebecca loves helping our families and working with families from many different cultural backgrounds in a way that is supportive of our families’ different needs. Rebecca has a personal interest in additional needs and working with families on best approaches to meeting their unique requirements.
When she is not at SunRise Kids, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling around the world and spending time at home cooking and watching Netflix.
